W. 31st Street resident receives college scholarship

(Plain Press, June 2008) Keisha Gonzalez, daughter of Gicel Robert and Fredi Gonzalez of 3302 W. 31st Street, has received a Faculty Award scholarship to attend the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD). The scholarship was awarded as a result of an art portfolio competition held at the CCAD which was judged by a team of faculty members.

Keisha Gonzalez is graduating from Magnificat High School this year. Her art teacher at Magnificat was Jennifer Chronister. Gonzalez will begin her studies at CCAD in the fall and plans to major in Industrial Design.
