Bookstore on W. 25th closes

(Plain Press, July 2008) Michael O’ Brien, of The Bookstore on W. 25th, 1921 W. 25th, announced he plans to close the store by the end of June. After a brief stint as Six Steps Down on Franklin Avenue, the bookstore moved to the W. 25th site from which it has sold new and used books for nearly 30 years. The Plain Press offices were located in the Bookstore on W. 25th from 1980 to 1994.
