ST. MALACHI CENTER OLD ANGLE FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL will be held Saturday, July 5 from 11am to 3 pm at 2416 Superior Viaduct, directly behind St. Malachi Church, W.25th Street, just north of Detroit Ave. The festival includes family activities, entertainment, and community resources. CAMP GARFIELD offers 3-day outdoor day camps in the forests, meadows and wetlands of the Garfield Park and Bedford Reservations of the Cleveland Metroparks. Sessions run from 9:30 am – 4 pm for grades 2-3 on July 9-11; grades 4-5 on July 16-18; and grades 6-8 on July 30-August 1. Space is limited and registration required. Call 216-341-3152.
HIGHBROOK LODGE, the Cleveland Sight Center’s camp on 60 acres in Geauga County, offers a residential camping experience for campers of all ages with visual impairment. BOOKS ALIVE! Summer nature reading series at the Rocky River Nature Center of the Cleveland Metroparks will focus on books about outdoor survival skills.
